Teaching Faculty Committee Election Nominations

The Teaching Faculty Committee (TFC) is looking for new committee members! There are four open positions (chair, vice-chair, and two members-at-large). To nominate yourself, please fill out the attached form. You need to get two teaching faculty to sign on for your nomination. Please return your nomination form to me (seanhickey@wayne.edu) by Wednesday, September 11. 

Chair

  • Preside over all TFC and TFC Board of Officers meetings as a voting member.

  • Prepare meeting agendas with the TFC Board of Officers.

  • Act as the TFC spokesperson.

  • Ensure an orderly transition between outgoing and incoming TFC officers.

  • Serve as an Ex-Officio member of the AAUP-AFT Local 6075 Executive Board.

  

Vice-Chair

  • Assist the Chair and attend TFC Board meetings.

  • Represent the Chair when requested.

  • Lead meetings in the Chair's absence.

Members-at-Large (2)

  • Attend Board meetings.

  • Perform duties assigned by the TFC.

Elections will run from Friday, September 13 to Friday, September 27, with positions starting in October.
