Special Election

WAU is holding a special election for the position of President. The Nomination/Election Committee will accept nominations or self-nominations. Candidates should fill out the nomination form and get the support of two fellow union members.

Nominators and the nominee may express their support by emailing office@waunion.org. Nominees are encouraged to submit a 250-500 word statement on why you are running for union office.

Nominations for President will be accepted until Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at 5 pm.

The role of the President is described in the Bylaws (page 3). If you have questions about the work of the Executive Board, do not hesitate to contact office@waunion.org. The term begins upon conclusion of the special election and ends June 30, 2025.
