Special Election

WAU is holding a special election for the position of Vice-President and Secretary due to resignations. The Nomination/Election Committee will accept nominations or self-nominations for either position. Candidates should fill out the nomination form and get the support of two fellow union members.

Nominators and the nominee may express their support by emailing office@waunion.org. Nominees are encouraged to submit a 250-word statement on why you are running for union office.

Nominations for Vice-President and Secretary will be accepted until Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at 5 pm.

Vice President: Term begins upon conclusion of the special election and ends June 30, 2024.

Secretary: Term begins upon conclusion of the special election and ends June 30, 2025.
