Twenty-six out of 37 articles have been tentatively agreed upon.
Our wage demand is on the table. To counter salary differences between lower and higher earners being compounded by across-the-board raises, our bargaining team introduced a tiered model for distributing salary adjustments. Lower earners would receive a higher percentage, higher wage earners would receive a lower percentage, but higher absolute dollar amount. The proposal amounts to an average 8.7% increase across membership, plus 1.5%–4% COLA.
Selective salary and merit awards are still under discussion.
