WAU at the 4/26 Board of Governors Meeting

Next Friday is the last Board of Governors meeting before they vote on the university budget on June 26. Over the last three years, while our salaries have fallen far behind inflation, the total amount of money going toward administrator salaries increased by $16.8 million. Meanwhile, the faculty and academic staff salary pool—which covers far more people—went up only $4.5 million. It is imperative that we see significant wage increases in our next contract. Now is the time to show up and stand with WAU at the Board of Governors.
Wear orange and/or your WAU t-shirt. The meeting begins promptly at 3 pm, and public comments are first on the agenda.
The April 26 Board of Governors meeting will occur at the Eugene Applebaum School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences at 259 Mack. To get there:
Meet at 2:20 pm at the corner of Woodward and Putnam outside the Maccabees building (5057 Woodward) to walk with a group or catch a ride.
Drive to EAPHS and park in structure 7 by the Whole Foods parking lot (map).
Happy Hour to follow at Common Pub, 4–6 pm!
